What're you gonna do when it's stay-at-home in the fast approaching winter? Put on a playlist that spans across genres and whatnot. Do a little musical travels, if you will. I haven't put together a playlist of recent releases and/or discoveries since this July, so we're touching on a lot of moods (it's been a wild year), meeting new artists, checking in with favorites and digging into some back catalogues.

Kick it off with an absolute ear worm ("fah-fah-fah, fah-fah-fah") from Baby Keem, a rapper/producer signed to TDE who just hit my ears this summer. Then it's time to check in with new tracks from some ABC mainstays—Ric Wilson, Smino, Anderson .Paak, Ghostface Killah, Tierra Whack, and Tank and the Bangas. The happiest surprise on the playlist (for my money) is the Busta Rhymes & Kendrick Lamar track "Look Over Your Shoulder." Flows on flows over a classic boom-bap, plinky piano beat.
